FAQ’s
Q: Do I need an Rx or referral to be seen by the P&O Team?
A: An Rx is not required, however, a referral is required if that is your insurance company’s policy.
Q: Will I be fitted with a orthosis during my evaluation appointment?
A: No, this is for an evaluation by the team to determine if a new device will meet your needs. If one is necessary then the physician will write an Rx for the orthosis.
Q: Should I bring my current orthosis to the evaluation?
A: Yes, you should bring any devices delivered to you in the last 10 years if possible.
Q. What happens after the Rx is written for a new orthosis?

Q. Will I be able to get therapy after I receive my orthotic or prosthetic device?
A. Yes, Dr. Uustal will write a therapy prescription for you if therapy will be beneficial.
