Early Intervention
Early Intervention
This program is designed for children, from birth to age three, who demonstrate moderate to severe delays in development or who have been given a diagnosis that may result in delays as they mature. The state and federally subsidized Early Intervention program uses a transdiciplinary team approach with an emphasis on parent training. (These services are funded in part by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.)
We work with parents towards outcomes that are meaningful to them in home or community settings. Our progressive family-centered approach helps young children improve their gross and fine motor skills, communication skills, cognitive and play skills, daily living skills, social-emotional interactions and sensory development. As one of the oldest and largest Early Intervention providers in New Jersey, we provide intervention services to more than 250 children and their families each week. We are also the provider of all initial Early Intervention evaluations to children living in Middlesex County.
