Matthew Moore, D.O.
Dr. Matthew Moore received his medical degree from New York Institute of Technology – College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Northwell Health’s Plainview Hospital and residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. He received further training in an ACGME accredited fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute.
Dr. Moore’s clinical focus involves rehabilitation after stroke and traumatic brain injury. He is also actively involved in JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute’s Concussion Program. He believes in an all-encompassing approach to patient care, which involves rehabilitation plans that are patient centered and specific.
Dr. Moore enjoys teaching and is active in resident and medical student education. He has lectured on topics related to Neurologic Rehabilitation and is a participant in ongoing research. He has presented his research at both national and local conferences.
Dr. Moore is an active member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Osteopathic Association.
